We show average sample scores for a particular device. As more data is compiled, these results can change. This is especially true for new products that are growing in popularity.
Our 0-100 scoring system is relative and adjusts as new devices are released. When higher benchmarks are achieved, ratings are recalibrated to reflect current standards. This may cause older device scores to drop.
We cannot include all possible devices; we only feature those that provide enough data for a decision. If you believe a certain device should be added, please use our contact form to let us know and we'll consider it. We typically add popular devices that are in high demand.
Our methodology doesn't take the manufacturer into account. We have no brand preferences or partnerships. This is a common criticism we face and it's usually from consumers loyal to a particular brand. That said, errors can occur. If we made a mistake, please let us know via this page.
At this time, there are no plans to expand our product types. We prefer to concentrate on improving the current categories, based on demand and our data capabilities. Our focus will remain on providing accurate data for devices based on x86 and ARM architectures.
Verified specs indicates that two or more of our editors independently investigated the specifications and found no inconsistencies—but this doesn't guarantee the data is 100% accurate. We rely on publicly available information and even official sites sometimes contain inaccurate technical specifications (see disclaimer).
Final benchmark results depend on numerous factors — OS, ambient temperature, background apps, and much more. We provide median (average) results of all samples. You can help improve the results by submitting your benchmark tests. The more data we have, the more precise our results will be. QuickComparison is a community-driven project and we would love for you to join us!
We moderate comments to filter inappropriate content and prevent spam. This can delay posting, but we're always working to increase efficiency and improve the process.
User-submitted information is moderated to ensure dataset quality. Also, please keep in mind that we publish an overall results average, so your score is included in calculations but may not be the median itself. In the future, we intend to present user-submitted results separately (it may already be implemented).
Use the feedback form or add a comment on the device page. We will review all notifications and fix any incorrect data.
Voting reflects personal opinions; scores are calculated based on technical data, expert reviews, consumer assessments, and other comprehensive information. The process can be affected by brand loyalty and personal preference (many people simply vote for the device they own).
No, they provide additional insight but are not included in score calculation. However, submitted benchmark results can impact the dataset.
We employ an alternative methodology. The results are not directly comparable.
